Terms, privacy, and data controls

This notice describes the current Roundly V2 beta. It does not claim regulatory certifications the product has not independently obtained.

Privacy Notice

Roundly processes account identity, founder or investor profile information, fundraising materials, website-derived context, messages, posts, matching preferences, subscription state, and security events to operate the capital-network product.

Pitch decks and company context can contain confidential commercial information. Access is limited to the authenticated account and product workflows the account deliberately uses. Roundly does not sell imported VC contact data or silently send messages to imported firms.

Data is retained while the account is active and as needed for security, billing, disputes, or legal obligations. Account deletion removes local account-backed data after connected-service and billing safeguards complete. Backup-retention timing must be finalized before production launch.

Terms of Service

Roundly provides research, workflow, matching, and communication tools. Matches, AI summaries, investor mandates, generated outreach, and seed demonstration records are not guarantees, investment advice, legal advice, or independently verified commitments.

Users must provide accurate information, review AI-generated material before use, respect confidentiality and intellectual-property rights, comply with applicable communications and securities laws, and avoid deceptive, abusive, or unsolicited outreach.

Paid features renew according to the price and interval shown in Stripe Checkout. Cancellation and invoice management are available through the Stripe customer portal. Access may be limited following failed payment or misuse.

Cookies and optional analytics

Roundly uses an essential HTTP-only session cookie for authentication and does not install advertising cookies. Optional first-party product analytics is off by default and begins only after an authenticated user opts in. It records bounded activation milestones, not prompts, pitch content, names, URLs, or advertising identifiers. Turning it off deletes that account's stored product analytics events.

Service providers and data transfer

Depending on configuration and features used, Roundly may send limited necessary data to OpenAI or Groq for AI processing, Stripe for billing, Zoho for email, and Google or LinkedIn for sign-in. Infrastructure hosting and object-storage providers must be added here before production deployment.

Your controls

Signed-in users can change optional analytics consent, download an account export, sign out other sessions, disconnect Zoho Mail, manage billing, and request permanent account deletion from account controls. For access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, or support requests, email support@roundly.ai.
